“Kailan po kayo nag-umpisa magturo?”

“My God. I think it was 1996 so I’m doing 21 years of teaching already.”

“Throughout many years of teaching, what has been the most memorable experience for you or an experience that you would treasure the most?”

“I treasure, all the time, my students’ self-portraits. I treasure their creative works. I might forget their names but I’ll remember what they did in the classroom that moment when they shared themselves, [that moment] when they learned on their own what art form they wanted to do [and] who will influence their art.”

“Kung made-describe niyo po ‘yung experience niyo sa pagtuturo in one word, ano po ‘yung gagamitin niyo at bakit po?”

“Fabulous. I love teaching. I really love what I do.”
