“What is your most memorable achievement so far?”

“My most memorable achievement so far is graduating with a Latin honor. What made this memory special is not the part of receiving the medal on stage, but the fact that I saw my father shed joyful tears when he saw my name in the graduation program with a ‘cum laude’ beside it. [M]y father works abroad. […] As a strict father, a man, and a symbol of authority, I would never think that a day would come that I would witness my father’s soft side.”

“What life lessons motivated you to achieve success?”

“I learned that everything will not go as planned, but you just need to believe in yourself amidst the failures that transpired. Learn to move on and pick yourself up because dwelling on your mistakes will only drag you down. Ika nga ng org ko dati, masisira ka muna bago ka mabuo at ‘pag nabuo ka na, mas malakas ka na.”
