How does it feel to see your blockmates face-to-face finally?

Exciting! Actually, nasa QPAV ako earlier. Tumakbo ako para makita sila kasi I’m a volunteer there. Sobrang aliwalas sa feeling kasi first time namin magkita-kita and we’re gonna have fun. We’re gonna make the most out of what we have right now.

Anong pakiramdam seeing UST for the first time na buhay?

Ang ganda kasi yung energy [of the university], umaapaw siya. That energy transcends to me as a volunteer. Ang saya lang na maraming tao, ang daming faces, ang daming colors. It’s exhilarating to see.

How much of a home does UST feel after 2 years of online classes?

It’s really a home that I have been waiting for.

UST is really one of my dream schools. Being able to roam around the campus, as I’m doing right now, is really something that is fulfilling as a Thomasian. Kasi siyempre, two years after the pandemic, there were so many things that were prohibited here and there. Ang ganda lang ng feeling na nakikita mong buhay yung university, the home that I imagined it to be.
