SEVEN RESEARCHERS-translators from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) will tackle the concepts of translating technical texts into the Filipino language at the Sentro sa Salin at Araling Salin’s upcoming forum.
UST professors Wennielyn Fajilan, Dino Tordesillas, Franz Giuseppe Cortez, Rosalyn Mirasol, Alvin Ringgo Reyes, Elenita Mendoza, and John Dale Trogo will talk about the collaboration, evaluations, and considerations in technical translations during the “Salinsanay: Webinar sa Pagsasaling Teknikal bilang Gawaing Propesyonal.”
The webinar will take place on April 23 and 30 via Zoom, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
The two-day webinar will focus on the experience of professionals in translating technical documents, such as modules, interviews, and research into the Filipino language.
