ASST. PROF. Ma. Zenia Rodriguez, who served as Faculty Secretary of the Faculty of Arts and Letters (AB) in 2014, was reappointed to the position for the academic year 2017 to 2018.
Rodriguez replaced Assoc. Prof. Luciana Urquiola, who served during the academic years 2015 to 2016 and 2016 to 2017.
Rodriguez earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science (PolSci) from the University of Santo Tomas in 1994. She earned her master’s degree in Management, major in Educational Management from the Philippine Christian University.
She served as PolSci academic coordinator in UST from 2007 to 2014 and has been a faculty member of the University since 1998.
She is also the head of the Politics and Public Policy Research Group of the Research Center for Social Sciences and Education.
Rodriguez received certificates in Labor Relations and in Human Resource Planning and Acquisition from UST and Human Resource Management Development Center and Personal Management Association of the Philippines.
Faculty Secretaries are tasked with keeping the confidentiality of all official records and correspondence, overseeing the work of clerks and other employees, and performing other duties the dean may assign, Article 16 of UST General Statutes specified. F
