THE FACULTY of Arts and Letters (AB) Men’s Basketball Team is a step closer to securing a semifinals spot after dominating the College of Education (Educ), 88-54, to snatch their second win in the Thomasian Goodwill Games.

AB effortlessly earned their lead in the first quarter by taking advantage of Educ’s bad passes, allowing them to end the quarter with an 11-point lead, 24-13.

Tight defenses and good ball rotation allowed AB a 15-0 run in the second quarter, furthering the lead to 26 points and ending the first half of the game.

AB did not let up in the third quarter and forced numerous turnovers from Educ, 70-38.

The team kept the lead with under-the-net passes that gave AB easy scores, ending the game with a 34-point lead.

AB Men’s Team Captain Kenneth Bataclan attributed their win to each player’s effort and contribution.

“‘Yung collective effort ng [lahat], nagbuhos ng hardwork […] [L]ahat ng players nag-contribute this game, at saka in-execute namin ‘yung tinuro ng coaches namin siyempre. Props to our coaches,” Bataclan told the FlameF
