AS MEMBERS of the Thomasian community are forced to hold classes and to conduct transactions online due to the pandemic, the University has launched a virtual campus tour through a high definition 3D program and an informative audio and text guide.
The virtual tour, which first went live on Thursday, features the 21.5 hectares-wide campus with its 14 landmarks and sites.
“Under the Strategic Directional Area on Public Presence, the University continuously explores possibilities of engaging the Thomasian community and the external stakeholders towards an effective University publicity,” UST Secretary-General Fr. Louie Coronel said in a memorandum dated Feb. 23.
The virtual campus tour showcases the Arch of the Centuries, Benavides Statue, Main Building, Santisimo Rosario Parish Church, Central Seminary, Quadricentennial Square, Miguel de Benavides Library, Tan Yan Kee Student Center, Thomas Aquinas Research Center, Central Laboratory, Quadricentennial Pavilion, Carpark, and Blessed Pier Giorgo Frassati, O.P. Building.
The virtual tour can be accessed through a link or by scanning a QR code found on the official Facebook page of the University. F – Nillicent Bautista
