THREE JOURNALISM alumni from UST were recognized in the 34th Business Journalism Awards of the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP).
Meg Adonis from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Jasper Arcalas of The Philippine Star and BusinessMirror’s Lorenz Marasigan bagged awards for reporters in their respective beats on Friday, Oct. 24.
Adonis, who graduated in 2017, received the Reporter of the Year title for capital markets, while the same award for telco and transport was conferred to 2013 alumnus Marasigan.
UST Journalism instructor Arcalas, a 2016 graduate, was honored as Agriculture-Mining Reporter of the Year.
