
A TOTAL of 42,994 students enrolled in UST for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026, higher by 3.34% than the 41,605 enrollees in the same term last year, the final tally from the Office of the Registrar showed.
However, the figure is 4.06% lower than the 44,812 students enrolled in the first semester, according to data obtained by The Flame.
About 35,584 students are enrolled in UST’s different colleges, faculties, and institutes.
Basic education, which consists of the education high school (EHS), junior high school and senior high school, tallied 7,410 enrollees. Meanwhile, 36 students from the EHS senior high school program were not included in the grand total.
The Faculty of Arts and Letters (AB) garnered the highest number of enrollees among colleges at 4,252, composed of 1,239 freshmen, 1,073 sophomores, 1,110 juniors and 830 seniors.
AB’s Communication program had the highest count of 736 enrolled students this term among all of the faculty’s programs, followed by Legal Management at 583 and Political Science at 568.
The Faculty of Engineering had the second-highest number of enrollees among colleges and faculties with 3,892, followed by the Faculty of Pharmacy at 3,257.
The College of Science lured 2,813 enrollees for this term, while the College of Commerce had 2,779 enrolled students.
The College of Information and Computing Sciences attracted 2,322 enrollees to its various programs, while the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management drew 1,986 students.
The number of enrollees in the Graduate School reached 1,602, while the College of Education had 1,386 enrollees for this term.
A total of 1,230 enrolled in the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, while the College of Nursing attracted 745 enrollees.
The number of enrolled students in the Faculty of Civil Law hit 714.
The Institute of Physical Education and Athletics lured 523 enrollees, while the Conservatory of Music recorded a total of 379 enrolled students.
The regular enrollment period ran from Jan. 12 to 16. Thomasians had until Jan. 26 to enroll with a late fee. F
