THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas will hold a series of activities on Sept. 27 to kick off UAAP Season 86 and to boost the morale of its athletes and coaches.
Carrying the theme ‘Roaring to Victory,’ the events seek to encourage the Thomasian student-athletes and coaches to conquer another season and to celebrate UST’s sixth consecutive general championship, the Office of the Secretary-General said.
Thomasians are highly encouraged to wear yellow during the events.
The kickoff party will happen from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quadricentennial Pavilion Arena (QPav) to be followed by the Thomasian athletes’ parade inside the campus.
After the parade, a Tigers Fair will be set up beside the QPav along Quezon Drive. The event will feature interactive booths that will allow the guests to engage with student-athletes.
The UST Main Building and the Arch of the Centuries will be lit in yellow in the evening.
The theme for this season, “Fueling the Future,” aims to ignite camaraderie and excellence in the Thomasian community. F
