
Media studes urged to play role in nat’l polls
COMMUNICATION STUDENTS from different universities were urged to go beyond casting their votes in the upcoming national elections and engage in the electoral process through different forms of media.
DZRH Manila station manager Atty. Rudolph Jularbal said in this year’s Podcast Convention (Pod Con) that it is important for the youth, who make up a significant population in the electorate, to get involved in the elections because the results will have a huge impact on them.
“Tataya dapat kayo, gagawa kayo dapat ng karapat-dapat na plano, and that is you should get involved…not only in casting your votes,” he said.
