THE FACULTY of Arts and Letters (AB) Men’s Volleyball Team booked a quarterfinals seat in the latest season of Thomasian Goodwill Games after it effectively washed out Alfredo M. Velayo (AMV) College of Accountancy Men’s Volleyball team Thursday at the P. Noval Court. AB started hot and ended blazing in a two-set sweep, 25-15 and 25-22. The streaking offense of AB started with a 6-to-nothing run in the first set, pushing the score to 16-8 through AB offensive specialist Russel Wilfred Estrada’s spikes and John David Subiere’s blocks and service aces. However, the Accountancy students did not back down and capitalized in the Dapitan-based squad's errors, capped by a service error from Subiere.
