POLITICAL SCIENCE (PolSci) defended its crown in the AB Sportsfest mixed volleyball category after sweeping Behavioral Science (BES), 25-19, 25-23, and 25-23 in the championship match held Feb. 24. PolSci’s team captain Judenn Mascareñas, hailed as the Most Valuable Player, contributed 12 points for his team. POLITICAL SCIENCE (PolSci) is back in the spotlight of the Athena Cup mixed volleyball tournament as it is set to defend its title against a red hot Behavioral Science (BES) squad on Feb. 24. PolSci prevailed over Legal Management (LegMa) in a heart-stopping five-set match, 27-29, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, and 16-14 during their semifinal rubber match held last Feb. 20 at the Felix Huertas court. HST, LegMa, ASN, CA, SCL open basketball league on a high note

THE TEAMS of History, Legal Management (LegMa), Asian Studies (ASN), Communication Arts (CA), and Sociology tasted their triumphs in the season opener of AB Sportsfest basketball tournament held Wednesday. Both History and LegMa escaped Political Science (PolSci), 55-52 and 44-43, respectively. With no wins and two losses, Political Science was eliminated in bracket A. History’s JV Vibandor and Joseph Alfonso spoiled the heroics of PolSci’s Anton Maglaqui throughout the game. Vibrandor and Maglaqui earned 19 and 18 points, respectively.
