
CASA Footworks wins 4-peat in Cypher
THE COMMUNICATION Arts Students Association (CASA) Footworks defended its crown as champion for four straight years in Cypher, the annual inter-major street dance competition of the Faculty of Arts and Letters (AB).
CASA Footworks bested 11 other contenders after garnering a total of 93 points for its Peter Pan-inspired dance interpretation.
Both earning 83.2 points, Economics’ Econlibrium and English Language Studies’ Phonetix tied as first runner up. The third-time second placer Econlibrium executed a routine inspired by The Incredibles while Phonetix staged a Wreck It Ralph-themed performance.
Legal Management’s Lex Baile made a comeback as second runner-up after not participating in the competition last year. Its Toy Story-inspired routine garnered 81.9 points.
