Fr. Jannel N. Abogado, O.P. compared learning to childbirth, saying failure to cultivate one’s talents is similar to the experience of loss after a miscarriage. “If the baby is not delivered at all, there is the experience of loss. In his homily for the second mass of the Homecoming Walk on Tuesday, August 23, Vice-Rector for Religious Affairs Rev. Fr. Pablo T. Tiong, O. P. urged juniors and sophomores not to be "misled by the world." “Let us be careful of those who attract attention to this and that. Saying that, that is the way of happiness. That’s the treasure, this is the treasure,” Tiong said during the mass, which was held at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion. “Let us not be misled by the world.
