UST Model United Nations conference to tackle effective global health governance

THE UST Model United Nations (MUN), an event that aims to increase the knowledge of Filipino students about diplomacy, will be held on March 10 to 12.

The three-day conference, a flagship project of the Asian Studies Society since 2013, strives to connect young leaders through simulations of the United Nations (UN) assemblies.

UST MUN 2021 will be held virtually with a theme “Championing international collective action: Mitigating the multisectoral adversities of COVID-19 through effective global health governance.”

The 8th installation of UST MUN will tackle prevailing issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and seek solutions from the participants who will act as delegates of UN countries.

During the conference, the delegates are expected to “discuss, debate, and negotiate to formulate and produce a resolution paper that will introduce innovative solutions to the agenda being addressed.” F – Kristine Erika Agustin
