“What will you tell students who are afraid to explore the real world after school?”

“It’s okay to be afraid and not know what to do. We all don’t, we just pretend we do. Take time to talk to yourself and ask what you want to do, not necessarily for the next five years or so, it can be for tomorrow or for later. Take little steps, don’t force yourself too much; it can be very toxic. […] All the things you are planning right now might not come true in the future and you have to accept it. If you can’t, then make alternatives, but don’t keep on pushing to the point where you’ll lose yourself. The only comrade you have who will surely stick by you until your last breath is you. Be kind but be kinder to yourself.”
