What makes Agape memorable?

“We get to see the faces na sa online lang natin nakikita. I mean–Agape, Paskuhan, kung iisipin natin, these are the most stressful for us [student] organizations, pero ang fulfilling niya makita, na ‘yung mga students kumakain sabay-sabay, nagpi-picture. It’s so, parang, defines our Thomasian identity.”

Who is your dream Agape date?

“Wala.”

This Christmas season, what do you think are the measures that UST made to make these festivities more virus-friendly?

“The ThoMedss app. ‘yung mga guards sa gate, very strict pa sila ‘don. Like nagca-cause siya ng traffic but ‘yung idea na like ineensure nila ng lahat ng pumapasok is well registered sa ThoMedss, one good movement na siya ng UST.”

If you can describe Agape food in one song, what would it be?

” [It’s the] most wonderful time of the year.”

All:“Wala.”

Who is your dream Agape date?

“Siguro yung girlfriend ko, kaso wala siya eh. FEU siya ngayon, so nung nalaman ko bawal ang outsider, edi ayun. Sad.”

“Wala naman, kahit ano. Kahit sino lang.”

“Kahit sino po, simple lang po. Basta babae.”

How do you feel right now, performing for Paskuhan, the first one since 2019?

“We’re excited, kasi first time namin to but also first time nang ganto kalaki na crowd and also special siya since tutugtog ako in front of my fellow Thomasians, were excited.”

Do you have a message for your fans?

“I think I mentioned this before sa kaibigan ko, yung huddle. […] Parang, motto namin is to enjoy the stage. If you make mistakes, just forget them and just have fun on stage so.. We just say that paulit-ulit. And pray.

How are you guys feeling? [now that] you are playing for a crowd for as big as Paskuhan?

“Excited na may kaba.”

“May kaba kasi it’s our largest crowd as of now.”

Do you guys have any message for your fans or your crowd?

“We have fans? Siguro thank you again for the support, kasi we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them. The performance that we gave ‘nung Tunog Tomasino is just a small part why we’re here but most of it comes from our fans, our supporters.”

“I think it’s all over. There’s nothing I can do about it.”

What can you say about the safety and security measures that are being implemented this Paskuhan?

“In terms of the health [security], I guess they should [ have put more] disinfectant stations around the campus and in terms of security, […] I do take issue with the one entry one exit [policy]. I think people should at least have the chance to leave. It does more harm than good basically.”

“I want to express myself.”

Photo by Danica Loran Ramilo/THE FLAME

Tell us about your cosplay today, bakit ka nagcosplay today?

“Actually, the reason why I cosplayed today is because I want to express myself din, kasi it’s a fun hobby since I struggle with anxiety sometimes. So I feel like this is stepping out of my comfort zone a little bit, and this is a way for me to do that.

Tell us about the character that you are cosplaying, can you describe why ‘yun ‘yung napili mo for today.

I chose Anya from Spy x Family because I really like her character. I started reading the manga before it became animated, so I really like the way that her character […] even though she can read minds, she sometimes messes it up. And it goes to show that not everything is as simple as it seems. Yeah, that’s mainly the reason why I chose her.”

When it comes to, not only the music or yung itutugtog [nila] na equipment, but also kung comfy sila. So if may need sila, kaming talent coordinator will provide for them. Kasi being a talent coordinator is not just communication, but also taking care of your talent, kaya talent coordinator.”

What is your Paskuhan bucket list when you’re off duty?

“For me, I think I’m gonna go out with my friends because hectic. And since it’s Paskuhan, ayon, I’ll go out with my friends and orgmates after this.” F
