THE VARSITARIAN, the official student publication of UST, was among the finalists in this year’s Pinnacle College Media Awards, the publication announced on Aug. 15.
The publication earned a spot in Elite Division 1 for editorial cartoon, coverage of faith, special section, general news photo, sports photo, sports feature, ad campaign and video advertisement.
Other finalists in the categories include the University of Michigan, University of South Carolina, Pennsylvania State University, Kansas State University and San Jose State University.
Given annually by the College Media Association, the Pinnacle Awards recognizes journalistic works of student reporters in different platforms. F
