The younger brother of Tigresses standouts EJ and Eya Laure is leaving the Tigers’ den to begin a new chapter in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Echo Laure, will be transferring to the University of Perpetual Help Altas after staying with the UST Growling Tigers for more than three years, a team insider who requested anonymity confirmed to The Flame yesterday.

Now in his final year as a Thomasian undergraduate, Laure moved to the NCAA Season 101 bronze medalists with one year of playing eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-5 center will sit out Season 102 to complete the league’s one-year residency requirement and is expected to suit up in Season 103 in 2027.

After playing for the NU Bullpups in high school, Laure committed to the UST Growling Tigers in 2022, following the path carved by his sisters. He last saw action for UST in UAAP Season 88 roster, where the Growling Tigers finished fourth.

Laure was notably absent from the line-up of the Growling Tigers for the Pinoyliga Global Invitationals Cup 2026, where the team just settled for a silver finish.

Laure will reunite with former Growling Tigers teammates Kylle Magdangal and Kenji Duremdes at the Las Piñas-based squad. F
