UNITAS celebrates 100 years through int’l lecture series

UNITAS, THE oldest multidisciplinary journal in the country published by the University, will host an international lecture series for its centennial anniversary. The next installment of the Authors International Lecture Series to be held on Feb. 22 will feature University of California professor John Blanco, who will tackle trans-Pacific culture between Mexico and the Philippines through the figure of the Moor in the Philippine colonial romance and theater. The event aims to engage the audience in a classroom lecture-style forum of intellectual discovery while discussing the authors’ published works.
