THE GRADUATING seniors of the Faculty of Arts and Letters move in synchronization with the marching forward of time as the moment draws near when they march towards the finish line of their college program. They will come towards the stage with all the cached pride in their hearts, seizing their prized diploma. The humbling truth that they will be exiting the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas will finally be realized as they remember the numerous years they have spent as proud Thomasians and Artlets.
As they take a bow and exit the gates of the University, may the undying spirit of the humanities rest ablaze within their souls. May all that they learned in the years they spent in the halls of the school be utilized to advance the greater good of society and to defy the machinations of the evils that spoil mankind. May the soul of the students never waver in contesting the next challenge the outside world brings to the fray.
