A TOTAL of 38,675 have enrolled in UST for the first term of the academic year 2024-2025 as of Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to data from the Office of the Registrar.
The University has logged 31,665 enrollees from various colleges, faculties, institutes and the graduate school during the regular enrollment period, data obtained by The Flame showed.
A total of 7,010 have enrolled in basic education, which comprises education high school, junior high school and senior high school.
The Faculty of Arts and Letters (AB) has recorded the most number of enrollees at 3,622. Of the enrollees, 1,159 are freshmen, 1,035 sophomores, 720 juniors and 708 seniors.
Within AB, the Communication program has attracted the highest number of enrollees this term at 596 consisting of 198 freshmen, 166 sophomores, 121 juniors and 111 seniors.
The Faculty of Engineering has recorded 3,378 enrollees while a total of 3,268 students have enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The College of Science has lured 2,599 enrollees while the College of Commerce has logged 2,534 enrollees. The number of enrollees in the College of Information and Computing Sciences has hit 2,190.
The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management has tallied 1,911 students while the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery has attracted 1,828 enrollees.
The College of Fine Arts and Design has recorded a total of 1,666 enrollees while the College of Architecture has logged 1,657. The number of enrollees in the UST-AMV College of Accountancy has reached 1,599.
The Graduate School has posted 1,275 enrollees while the College of Rehabilitation Sciences and College of Education have garnered 1,146 and 1,142 enrollees, respectively.
The College of Nursing has gained a total of 679 enrolled students while the Conservatory of Music has logged 335. A total of 247 students have enrolled in the Institute of Physical Education and Athletics.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Sacred Theology has attracted 172 students while the Faculty of Civil Law has recorded 147.
A total of 101 students have enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy while the Graduate School of Law has posted 86 enrolled students.
The number of enrollees in the Faculty of Canon Law has reached 73 students while ten students have enrolled in the University’s various review classes and short courses.
The University will run its late enrollment period from Aug. 9 to 20. Regular classes will begin on Aug. 9, while Artlets will start their classes on Aug. 10. F
