A TOTAL OF 41,864 students have enrolled in the University for the first term of the academic year 2026-2027, according to partial data from the Office of the Registrar.
Various faculties, colleges and institutes have lured 35,022 students, 10,229 of which are freshmen as of Aug. 7, according to data obtained by The Flame.
The partial figure is so far about 1% lower than the 42,234 recorded in the same term last academic year.
The University’s basic education, composed of educational high school, high school and senior high school, has posted 6,842 enrollees.
The Faculty of Arts and Letters has so far recorded the highest number of enrolled students, with 4,379, followed by the Faculty of Engineering with 3,560 for this term.
The Faculty of Pharmacy has logged 3,398 enrolled students, while the College of Science and the College of Commerce have recorded 2,932 and 2,816 enrolled students, respectively.
The College of Information and Computing Sciences has registered 2,087 enrolled students, while the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery has recorded 2,080 enrollees.
A total of 2,024 students from the UST-AMV College of Accountancy have enrolled in the first term of the academic year, followed by 2,013 enrollees from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The College of Architecture has so far logged 1,743 enrollees, followed by the College of Fine Arts and Design with 1,739 and the College of Education with 1,581.
The Graduate School has posted 1,383 enrollees for this incoming academic year. The College of Rehabilitation Sciences followed with 1,102 students enrolled.
The College of Nursing has logged 822 students for the first term while the Institute of Physical Education and Athletics has posted 410 enrolled students.
The Conservatory of Music has lured 309 enrolled students for this first term, while the Faculty of Civil Law has drawn 156 enrollees.
The Faculty of Theology has posted 151 enrollees, while the Graduate School of Law has garnered 140.
The Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Canon Law have registered 92 and 72 enrollees, respectively.
