UST spiker Jay Rack de la Noche joins Cignal in Spikers’ Turf

FORMER UST Golden Spiker Jay Rack de la Noche signed with the reigning Spikers’ Turf champions Cignal HD Spikers, the team announced in a social media post on Tuesday, June 24.

The lefty opposite hitter is expected to boost Cignal’s firepower alongside the league’s reigning Best Opposite Spiker Steven Rotter.

De la Noche will be joined by fellow UAAP standouts Vince Maglinao from the DLSU Green Spikers, NCAA Best Middle Blocker KC Andrade and libero Lhexen Rabit.

The 22-year-old spiker from Negros Occidental graduated on June 13 with Fitness Sports Management degree.

“As I embark on this new journey, I carry with me the values, knowledge, and experiences that have prepared me for the road ahead,” the national team player said in his social media post.

“I am excited to apply the skills and insights gained to make a meaningful impact in the world.”

In his final UAAP season, De la Noche tallied a total of 155 points and ranked 12th in scoring in the elimination round. F
